" I always put in one controversial item. It makes people talk."  -   Dorothy Draper

Heyyy,
In this blog I've put up a few cafe decor styles and ideas which you can use if you're starting up a business and don't know where exactly to begin from. This blog would give you a better understanding and help you to make a decision easily according to your personal choice. I'm going to be listing about 10 styles, so here we go.

1. Italian cafes

Most of us would already be aware of or have an idea about an Italian styled cafe. The decor itself has a coffee look. Italian cafes are usually cozy and tiny. Use a lot of tiles either on walls, floor or even ceiling. Use colours which depict coffee like brown, cream and white - this also gives a sense of warmth. The furniture used is usually kept simple and comfortable.

2. Parisian cafes

As the name suggests it does give a slight grand gesture. Provide a lot of dim lighting to give the whole Paris vibe. They are usually provided with huge windows to watch things happening outdoors and people walking by. Use of leather, wood and metal can be seen extensively which keeps the interior warm. A lot of paintings can be seen hung on the walls of theses cafes.

3. Vintage cafes

A vintage cafe takes inspiration from the days that have passed by and brings it into the present modern day. Use a lot of vintage elements like bookshelves, cabinets, lighting, furniture and artworks. Walls and floors can be given an unfinished look. Add in some objects which have historical value in them. Sofa leather and curtains can be picked from an ancient collection.

4. Funky cafes

A funky cafe gives more of an abstract look. It stimulates the customers senses and does not throw focus only on one point. You can pull off this look by adding in some pop styles. Include a lot of bright and vibrant colours making the place energetic. Use a lot of random patterns and colours. It's also a great place to gain inspiration from, for people who are into creative fields.

5. DIY cafes

A major advantage of a DIY cafe is that you can save a lot of money. So if you're planning not to spend much on the interiors then a DIY cafe is the best option. It also creates a unique style to your own cafe which makes it different from the rest. Use every element that you find like bottles, coffee mugs and what not. You can also use elements of nature like water, plants, wood and stone to give it a homely feel.

6. Modern cafes

One single colour is usually used for walls, counters and tables to give it a clean modern look anyone will love. Add in bright lighting and elements, would be better if there's a lot of natural lighting provided. Modern cafes are nature friendly environments. Play around with different materials, patterns and textures in the materials instead of sticking to just one.

7. Hygge cafes

Hygge cafe is all about a comfortable and relaxing space. Use bean bags or swings in place of ordinary chairs. Try to give it a homely look and with hygge decor, less is more. Add in soft cushions and large knotted blankets. Stick with a neutral colour scheme. To replace artificial lighting, candles also can be used. Keep the space warm and cozy.

8. Co-working cafes

Cafes with free internet is a brewing spot for self-employed and telecommuting workers. Great way to take your business ahead by providing a space that combines coziness and convenience. Provide enough furniture and equipment required for a co working space. Use more of furniture which you can notice in an office space but with a pinch of comfort. Add in wall hangings of maybe a few inspirational quotes or artwork. Try to avoid any bright colours and bring in more natural lighting.

9. Sidewalk cafes

Sidewalk cafes are more of a brunch type cafes with a lot of natural elements used to make it get a picnic vibe. Few decors which you must use would be barriers, planters, umbrellas, lamps and access points. It also acts as a great way to socialise even with the activities right outside the cafe. Furniture quality must be really good as they are placed outside the cafe and not on the outdoors - they must be able to withstand all climate changes.

10. Grab and go cafes

Grab and go cafes usually don't require much space as there's no requirement for any seating. You can add in some waiting lounge if required. The lighting and decor here must be a little extra as compared to gain in some attention from passerby's. Of course the displayed items and decor used for displaying plays a major role in a grab and go cafe. Be sure to add in some unique and interesting artworks which will help in keeping the customers waiting.
